At Fuji Nihon Seito, we use a variety of technologies and know-how to solve our customers’ problems.

Our food science business began with research into powdered flavors and fragrances, focusing on the ability of sugar micelle colloids (aggregates) to encapsulate and stabilize the aroma components of foods. From there, we have expanded the scope of our technology while gaining a great deal of knowledge. Based on the powderization, emulsification and cyclodextrin inclusion technologies, extract processing technologies, and blending technologies that we have established, and with a quality control system based on food additive GMP (HACCP compliant), we undertake contract processing (ranging from development to trial production, and manufacturing) of food additive preparations and various functional materials, centered on vitamins.

Stable Powderization Tech nology

Spray Drying Powderization

The undiluted solution is sprayed into a drying chamber, and its water content is evaporated through contact with hot air, instantaneously drying and powderizing the solids that were contained in the undiluted solution. Moreover, a variety of pretreatments such as extraction, blending, sterilization, filtration, and emulsification are available for atomizing undiluted solutions.

Kneading, Vacuum Drying and Powderization Processes

By kneading unstable substances such as oils and vitamins, which are normally prone to oxidation and deterioration, with a highly concentrated sugar syrup these substances can be vacuum dried and powderized into stable powders while sealed in the sugar base.

Emulsification Technology

By combining emulsifiers according to the desired purpose, we emulsify oil-soluble components that are insoluble in water to form water-dispersion type formulations.
We also process water-soluble components into oil-dispersion type formulations.

Extraction Technology

Using our own proprietary extraction technology, we produce a wide range of extracts from beneficial plants.
In addition, we concentrate the resulting extracts or even dry and powder them according to the customer’s purpose of use.

Our green tea extract catechin formulation was the first product of its kind in Japan, and was commercialized through technological development using a specialty tea produced in Shizuoka Prefecture.

We formulate food additives and food materials by homogeneously mixing multiple powdered raw materials according to the customer’s intended use.
All of our mixing and sorting equipment is washable. There is no risk of contamination due to allergens, etc.

If you are looking for an outsourcing contractor, please contact us to discuss joint development of new products, prototypes, etc., even for small lots regardless of the scale of production.

For small-lot prototypes at the laboratory level, we can respond immediately as soon as the raw materials are supplied. For actual prototypes, please contact us separately to discuss the prototype costs.
